Staccato Drone is the progressive pop project of Columbus, OH native, Peter Shumaker. His first full-length album, Beaches of Mars, drops September 5, 2025, via Head2Wall Records. The album was co-produced with Drew Bullock and features hip hop artist Dom Deshawn and multi-instrumentalist Justin Isaiah on saxophone and EWI. 

Beaches of Mars brings together themes of relationships, everyday moments, and dreams, with a sound that’s both cinematic and approachable. To celebrate the release, Staccato Drone will headline a live show at Rambling House on September 5, 2025, joined by special guest Dom Deshawn. Beaches of Mars will be available on cassette and all major streaming platforms.
